2-Channel projection with sound
The wind blows through a room, a thunderstorm comes up in the corner and clouds pass over the bed. Long shadows of houses wander across the table and windows.
The setting is a hotel room with historical furniture in a former castle. Played with video sequences of temporally manipulated views. Different speed sequences are combined in the same image then projected and filmed again. In short shots, spatial situations develop into tableaus as simultaneous double projections. Views and distant vistas in motion confront each other with closed, static spaces, reshape themselves, expand.
